Harwinton Paving. A company that leads in the paving/excavation industry reached their fullest potential by showing their brand through design. A company that started in 1985 only has had one logo or identity! Like many others in the industry they didn’t fully understand the importance of a properly branded identity. Now they will see more corporate clients, Be more recognizable around town, and be able to stand out against their competitors in a unique way.

color palette
Red; Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate, and raises blood pressure. Keeping this in mind we used it as a accent color to the base color black. With the trucks being red we designed with black as the base in most of the designs. With the designs that had a red base having either black or white overtone. This helped the corporate palette stay clean and still be bold in cases it needed to be or tone it down for more professional material.
font choice

This bold san serif font compliments the logo through the fonts weight. Making it co-exist on all marketing materials and when combining the wordmark with the stand alone logo. Use of this font can be used as title text and for body text it can be paired with Helvetica Neue.
